Do you have a modified truck or a bad Exhaust Backpressure Valve?

If you have eliminated or have a non-functioning EBV, then you should consider installing this device into your factory wiring to keep the PCM from throwing a code and defueling. Many claim that eliminating EBV function helps fuel mileage in the winter, since it is unable to function when it is cold out. Our electronic exhaust brakes perform this function as well as others, but if you are not an exhaust brake user, or no longer have an EBV then this is the correct product for your application.
